Our Indian Village location has been home to the Detroit Waldorf School since 1966. We are three miles east of midtown Detroit, within easy commuting distance to east side and downriver communities, and the northern and western suburbs.
The Detroit Waldorf School's four-acre campus features separate play areas for the Early Childhood Center and lower school grades. Middle school students make use of the athletic field for outdoor activities.
The school maintains a community garden that supplies organic vegetables for our Early Childhood Center snack program and sells our summer harvest at area farmers markets.
